WHAT IS REIKI? Reiki is the universal life energy used throughout the world. It is practiced with unconditional love. In its most basic form, Reiki is transmitted by a person who has been attuned (initiated) to this energy, who places their hands on the body to channel it to themselves or others. Reiki is a mind-spirit-body unity based on a state of well-being. It guides us toward awareness of universal life energy and conscious living. In other words, Reiki is a technique for utilizing universal energy that supports a person physically and spiritually. The only requirement is to use it with love and good intentions. It is extremely powerful yet equally simple and safe, and can be practiced by anyone who has been initiated by a Reiki Master. Reiki cannot be used as a substitute for conventional medicine, modern medicine, or alternative medical methods. It is a personal development program. However, when used in conjunction with these approaches, it can be an effective supportive tool in resolving many physical, spiritual, and mental issues.
WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH REIKI?
I had been given a toolbox equipped with everything I needed to resolve the challenges in my life. What was in this box? First and foremost, an “inner voice” that always told me the truth and guided me toward love with love. In addition to that, there was Reiki, meditations to transform fears into love energy, identifying my negative subconscious thoughts and replacing them with words of love, karma cleansing, and of course, forgiveness—that is, transforming every moment I’d experienced in the past into love energy. The essence of it all was love. At the core of it all was reaching love. Whenever I faced a problem, I’d open my toolkit, take out the tools I needed, and solve my problem. Sometimes a single tool was enough. If I got angry at a taxi driver honking in traffic, if a friend said something rude, or if something went wrong at work, I would identify the thought or fear causing it in that moment, work on it right then and there, and transform whatever negative emotion I was feeling—whether anger or anxiety—into love, then move on with the moment. Sometimes, however, I had to do a longer session, using every tool in the kit one by one.
REIKI TRAINING: The training consists of 3 stages.
LEVEL 1 REIKI TRAINING: This is the foundation of Reiki training. The Level 1 Reiki initiation opens the individual to the universal life force energy. By opening the chakras in the hands, the hands are able to channel energy with the intention of healing and with love.
LEVEL 1 REIKI TRAINING: The training consists of two parts: theory and attunement (initiation). The theoretical portion covers what Reiki is, how it works, and information about our energy body, aura, and chakras. Afterward, participants are taught how to use Reiki, and they receive their initiation—a process known in Anatolia as “el verme” (laying on of hands). After this stage, the individual is able to administer Reiki on a physical level, both to themselves and to others. To do so, it is sufficient to place their hands on the areas learned during the training and intend to connect with Reiki. It requires no concentration or prior experience. This acquired skill is retained for life. However, its effectiveness increases significantly as one becomes a channel for Reiki.

LEVEL 2 REIKI TRAINING: The energy transmitted by the practitioner increases. At this level, you can send healing energy over a distance with the help of symbols. In Level 2, the practitioner can transmit much stronger energy not only through touch but also independently of time and space. Three symbols are learned in Level 2: the Power Symbol, the Mental Symbol, and the Distance Symbol. Now, a Reiki practitioner can send energy to past or future events and situations and support people’s well-being. Your emotional and mental patterns are healed. You can perform subconscious cleansing.

LEVEL 3 REIKI TRAINING: This is the teaching level. It is completed in two stages. REIKI 3.1: First, you are initiated into the 3rd degree; REIKI 3.2: Then, you are awarded the title of “master.” After this stage, you are now a Reiki master and can initiate others. Level 3 is a program taken to transmit Reiki to others or to work with more powerful frequencies. To enter this level, a person must have made Reiki a way of life. It is a level that requires a great deal of responsibility. You should decide together with your Master whether you are ready for this level.
