Purpose of the Training
Montessori education is an educational model developed by Maria Montessori. Recognized as the world’s best educational model and practiced for over 100 years, Montessori education has recently become increasingly well-known in our country as well. The number of Montessori schools opening is growing rapidly. At the same time, Montessori education is a scientific approach because it aligns with a child’s natural developmental structure. It aims to educate the whole child through lessons and activities that support social and emotional development, physical coordination, and cognitive abilities. Once you begin to explore it out of curiosity, it sparks a desire to learn as you go—making you think, “This is exactly how it should be”—and there is a broad consensus that every child should benefit from this educational method. Montessori education instills in children a sense of freedom within known boundaries and, as a result, fosters their self-respect, self-confidence, and creativity. It is important for children to first gain concrete experiences in order to understand abstract concepts later on. The daily life, sensory, language, mathematics, and culture areas in Montessori classrooms enable children to gain these concrete experiences.
